Below is some further information on Teruhisa Nanno Sensei’s Dojo and his philosophies. There is also a brief explanation of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu and the lineage of his sword work written by him for us to use here on the British Iaido Association website.
Guneikan Dojo.
Guneikan dojo was established in 2001 at Kashugai–shi, Aichi–pref, Japan as the Iaido dojo where the legitimate Iaido has been instructed by Teruhisa Nanno, Menkyo Kaiden Hanshi 8th dan of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu.
Iaido is the secret Japanese original martial art to cut down the opponent at an instant of drawing the sword traditionally handed down for 400 years.
Accordingly, the master of Iaido must always keep the calm mind with self–control not to have an opportunity to draw the sword.
